9 Months Today

happy birthday trey! you are nine months old today. wow. you are now closer to being 1year than a baby. we love you so much and have enjoyed seeing your personality start to come through. things you love right now: banging(anything), music, favorite songs:itsybitsyspider/pattycake/, peekaboo, lola, mommy, daddy, your walker toy, books:esp. your new scraff-n-sniff, watching people talk,climbing, outdoors,pulling hair,necklaces and earrings:, babies and other kids,still bashful, still quite observant and you know what you want when you want it.

Modeling

Miss Lola is modeling the new Christmas Collars that she and Lucky received!!! Lucky wouldn't let me put his on(i think he thinks its the shock collar::: disclaimer:::i've only shocked him once on LOW but use the collar as a reminder). Anyhow really cute and i must say, "Miss Lola, that diet has done a girl good"!!!

trey loves his new wagon !!!!

St.Nick Come Quick!!!

the minute we put up the tree...we knew we were in trouble.

i actually feel guilty: "look trey, so pretty, all the baubles and colors and gifts oh my"...but no touch!!! For an active 9month old: this is like candyland but you can't play::: guess he better start learning "life rules" now!!!

multiple times a day we are playing the cat and mouse game of who can get to the tree faster to stop trey from 1.hurting himself 2. unwrapping the gifts and 3. sensory overload!!! most of the gifts he seems to go after are for Baby Girl C...i'm thankful she won't be too fussed THIS year if her gifts are slightly torn or not wrapped at all because i really can't promise what they will look like by the time Aunt Kristin and Uncle Ryan come for Casey Christmas on the 23rd!!!

PS: that dog by the tree: trey thinks its lola and he says "lola" and then pets her...so cute!!! that little boy loves his lola!!!

Christmas Celebration at YaYa and PopPop's!

This past weekend we went to Dallas for Christmas. Since we are not making the trip to Vail for Christmas this year(however next year Trey will be tickled to play in the snow)we decided to see YaYa and Pop Pop, Nennie and PawPaw,Granny Jo,Aunt Deena and Uncle Michael, Ella + Hayes before they took off for the house in Colorado! It was a fun and wonderful Christmas. Trey had sooo much fun with Ella and Baby Hayes. He also found two new Loves:::: The Red Piano and Nennie. He loves banging on the piano and i think Santa has found one and well, with Nennie, he just couldn't stop staring up at her:: its because she is pretty lady! We also had our picture taken with Santa(pic to come)! Nennie and PawPaw also got some pics with their Great Grandchildren.

Top 3 Things I Learned at Playdate

we have a great little group, about 9 of us mommas and babies who get together once a month. trey and i picked up some pointers at the last one.

1. Toss and Take sippy cups are the preferred chose of glassware for babies...sorry, trey, mommy didn't know better. he loves these cups and is "chuggin" like a champ.

2. the table with lights and music that you can pull up on is the BEST invention ever. he is so content and will play for quite a while by himself!

3. sit some cute babies next to trey and he is so happy. he likes looking at the other babies and checking out what they are doing.
