Peter Pan: The Ballet

When I originally purchased these tickets I thought I was buying Peter Pan the musical. My first clue should have been the price per ticket...most kids musicals are not expensive! Anyhow we are walking in and there are like no kids anywhere. I realize, oh yea...a ballet. No talking.  We gave it a go not knowing if Trey would enjoy watching people twirl and dance with one another even if they are in fun costumes. HE. LOVED. IT. and sat thru the entire 3 hour ballet with two intermissions. It was a little difficult for him to follow what was going on and we would  try and tell him without being too loud! It was a fun night!

Fish + Shrimp Dock!

This was so much fun! Trey absolutely loved watching the shrimp come off the boat and get weighed. After picking the berries Aunt Connie took us to the shrimp and fish dock in Dickinson where she lives.

At first, Lady C was very hesitant in touching....but it didn't take her long to warm up!

Their faces are priceless. Trey loved the crabs.

So wish I had videotaped these 10minutes. Both kids, in their own way, were just completely mesmorized. Here Lady C is literally shaking, doing this wiggle thing she does when she is super excited and just giggling and clapping her hands....they are the joy of my life. my heart is burning with love as I look back these pics right now...so much fun.

Thanks Aunt Connie for such an amazing day full of fun and learning. We love you!

Vegetable + Berry Picking!

Father's Day Saturday I gave Michael  the gift of " time  to himself" so the kids and I went with my Mom + her 4 longtime friends to pick berries and vegetables. We got there at 8:30 but by 9:00 it was H.O.T. we were sweating, at least me and the kids were we are a sweating family.

GaGa teaching them how to tell if the tomato is ready for picking. They were gorgeous and so yummy!

We were also given scissors ( which made trey very prideful about using big people scissors) and we cut flowers from the garden and make a flower arrangement for Daddy.

We are sweating now! My poor babies are both affected by heat, humidity and the SUN...their little faces get so red and flush just like mine does.
