I SIMPLY CAN"T GET ENOUGH OF HER!!!

here are some more 5 month photos of my joyful baby girl. her laugh/giggles are mirthful and music to my ears. Just the other night i was bathing trey and she was in bassinett in our bathroom with us. She was just playing with her toes and giggling, so content and happy. She probably did this for 30 minutes, in her own little gay and happy world. She is truly my angel baby. Caroline even went shopping with me for over 3 hours yesterday! She enjoyed shopping with mommy and then dozed off when she got sleepy. we took a break at starbucks and just enjoyed each others company. Sweet and busy brother never really let mommy do things like that. He wasn't a fan of just "chillin".... he liked to be doing his own thing! which is great, but i am sure am happy that my girl is a born shopper :)

Caroline is 5 Months

At 5 Months Caroline is the definition of FUN! She is giggly and smiley. She squeals alot and babbles on and on about this or that. She is a fairly good sleeper. Just waiting for her to quit the 4am night feeding  for good! She is a happy happy happy baby and loves to be in the "action" of things. I think she is def. going to be a People Person :) She is sleeping on her tummy now, which I always worry about but people say once they turn on their own its ok! at her 4 months checkup she was 16 pounds (67%) and 24 inches (34%) she is on a much different growth spectrum than her Bubba! Trey better be nice! Caroline has started to show a little seperation aniexty, not terribly but def. a little bit. She loves riding in the bjorn, facing forward. i think it is so she can see everything and what is going on. She def. thrives more on people interacting with her than trey did at this age. She is a joy and my heart swells with love for her. Oh and she loves to getting dressed, which her bubba still doesn't like, she is def a girlie girl, so we have mulitple wardrobe changes a day since she enjoys it and so does Mommy :)

Introducing....Tigger.

Santa delivered a little helper to our house this year. We watched the Polar Express(thanks megan!) and we discussed what an Elf was, where the north pole was and how Santa lives there until its time to deliver presents! Trey quickly named our Elf, Tigger.  Trey isn't as ''taken" with Tigger as i thought he would be. He doesn't really hurry down to find him in the mornings and if I don't bring Tigger up he doesn't really even remember that he's here ''watching"...maybe next year Tigger will hold a little more "glamour"......hopefully Tigger takes this letter to Santa tonight :)

"best friend"....

December 1 2011 our neighborhood shopping area held a fun filled afternoon for FREE. Full of train rides, firetrucks, police cars, balloon making, cookie decorating, petting ZOO, and even a horse drawn carriage ride. We went with our new friends, Jack and his Mom Marisa(she also has a baby who is just 6 weeks younger than Miss CEC, his name is Henry). Caroline + Henry rode in style in the bjorns while we pulled the boys around in the wagon. Grace also came with us to help out and i think she had a blast too! it was a fantastic way to kick off the month of December!

trey + jack. so when we first went to school i didn't know what type of child trey would be drawn to. honestly, he hasn't been that into playing with kids his age, except for his good friend Mabry, so i just didn't know what to expect. From day 1 trey + jack have been good buddies. its a def. "ying + yang" type relationship. i always think a good friendship needs to include 1 indian + 1 chief,  2 chiefs will just argue and 2 indians probably would be boring....soooo trey + jack def. display that balance.  I won't mention which hat each boy wears but it certainly makes for a great team! last night at dinner i asked trey the following : me: " is jack a good friend to you?" trey: mama, he's my best friend"  my heart was just so full and i have no clue where trey got the words "best friend" i guess from school bc i have never mentioned this concept to him. it was very touching. so are the photos i snapped of the two of them patiently waiting in their for the animal balloons: jack chose a dog and trey chose a cat. they were just making each other laugh and honestly lovin' on one another. I am quite thankful for jack's friendship with trey.

 

Ashley + MM'S Lake....

Myron's Family purchased about 100 acres of land in the middle of new Mckinney many years ago, and made a lake. While alot of development has gone on the family has decided to keep it, for now, as they treasure this land and i can see why. its a little slice a nature in the middle of a town. Myron and Ashley took us here to fish. We put a hot dog on the end of Trey's pole and the boys fished for about an hour. Trey did not move and was intent on getting a fish. he didn't snag one but Uncle MM did and boy was that exciting!!!! If your wondering where us girls are, we are in the suburban, where it was warm, sipping on coffee and chatting :) you know, girl talk!
