Spring Break 2012

March has been a whirlwind month for our family. Michael and I were in Cabo the first week, came home and left a day or so later for a week at the Lake for Trey's Spring Break. We celebrated Trey's 3rd Birthday morning with brownies for breakfast :) I had a really cute birthday hat for him and bought the tiara so Honey would have something to wear for the big birthday celebration but my boy wanted to wear the tiara!!!!

We spent one day at Zilker Park, near Barton Springs, rolling around in the grass and having a picnic....love that park.

Special Dress

This is the dress that myself, sister all girl cousins (7) on my mother's side have worn. Pretty darn special. I think my babygirl looks like an angel.

And of course, we had to let badger play photographer....she loved it!!!! honey + badger just melt my heart. they just absolutely LOVE each other. Well, honey thinks Trey hung the moon, all the time, badger as well but he does have his moments when he wants honey to be "back in my belly" as he says :)

cabo 2012....

michael and i were able to get away time by ourselves to Cabo again this year! we stayed at the same place as last year and it was wonderful. so much fun, that all we got was this picture of a lizard by our pool chairs for mr trey. I left my camera at home :( Michael and i took some surfing lessons together which was a blast however surfing is WAY more difficult than i ever imagined and getting up is half the battle. I give big props to surfers it a tough sport and upper body strength is required!

Trey's 3rd Birthday: School Celebration

We got to celebrate Trey's Birthday at school  this week since we were out of school during Spring Break! I brought Easter Egg cookies (that was what was available at the store) , sang happy birthday and i read the class one of trey's new favorite books The Forgiving Tree by the Bearstein Bears. Can you feel the excitement??? Trey's Birthday is the first one for the class and none of the kids knew what to do. kinda funny.

Core Work!

Caroline is working so hard on crawling that she does most of these moves throughout the day. A one armed pointed toe and some planking! Whew, she is worn out when is finished!
