Oh Santa you can't come soon Enough!

Trey is in love with Santa, Santa's Reindeer, all the angels and everything that relates to Santa!!! We have about 4 Santa's throughout our house and he tells each one of them goodnight and blows them a kiss. He wakes up and is "ho ho ho'ing" its great and makes me smile. We have been busy setting up for Christmas and i just feel overcome with happiness and thanks for my two boys and this life God has blessed us with. We have been doing some Christmas Projects and I have framed them and displayed them on our buffet in our Kitchen! We have also been loving our Advent Calendar. I didn't know what kind to get and knew trey really doesn't need candy as his energy is at full speed naturally so we went with a story of characters that depicts the birth scene of Jesus. This has been so much fun and trey loves all the animals. He gets to pick which character to add each day and on Christmas day we will place on the calendar Baby Jesus! Its been a great way to introduce Jesus's Birth!

trey loves looking at our Christmas lights so we made some! using a dish sponge i cut into a shape of a light. Trey told me where to place the sponge and then he got to "smoosh" it!

this isn't Christmas but we've been doing alot with numbers and letters using "dot paint pens" they are great for this age and Trey Loves it!

Trey's Christmas Tree. He did the middle of the tree really nicely and i outlined it. Trey is really into purple and brown...i kept trying to explain to leave the brown for the trunk only but he didn't choose to. I can't wait to compare what his tree will look like next year! This coming week we are working on a good old fashioned foot/handprint rudolph! I did this while teaching and its a great keepsake! Below is our Advent Calendar. I do have to remind him daily that we only put one on each day...this concept is a little confusing.
