Krause Springs...

as we spend more time at our lakehouse we have been able to explore the area and found this little gem! It is a mere 3 minutes from our house, called Krause Springs.

It is a 115 acre property that is listed on the National Registry of Historical sites, with over 32 springs, and several of these Springs actually feed into Lake Travis. The water is pretty cold,even on a hot summer day!

It was hard to take pictures with a 5 week old strapped to my chest with the challenge of keeping her out and shielded from the sun...so alot of these are from behind a shaded tree...

i think once trey is a "swimmer'' this will be a neat place to hangout, have a picnic and just enjoy God's natural scenery....







Trey really wanted to swing from that rope!
