Caroline at 2

Where does Mommy begin? Things you say that I never want to forget, esp. the sound of your voice: Mommy: "Lets go" Caroline: "i coming,momma i coming, momma" or Mommy: "Caroline please don't touch the dirt" Caroline " i am i am" in your most stern voice, i actually think your saying "i'm not i'm not"! " i wuv you, momma. When you ask for something, like a treat, and i say no you say, "ok how 'bout 1" and you hold up your tiny pointer finger or when you want to do something or stay longer you say "one min, mama, thats it, one minute"....you have and still are an excellent sleeper not needing more than your sleepsack and your thumb to fall asleep. i place you in the crib and as i walk out each night you say, "nigh nigh momma snug as a bug" and giggle. it melts my heart and is hands down the best way to end my day.  you love playing pretend and most often if we can't find our dirty clothes its because they are in your washer or dryer :) you are a happy child. waking every morning with a bright smile, ready to start your day. your favorite thing/person is your bubba, ba-boo. You two play so well, without even trying. You are extremely independent always saying " i do, momma or let me pick". A couple weeks ago you said, "watch me, momma" and you made the funniest face ever and we all could not stop laughing so now whenever you want our attention you do the funny face and its just hilarious. A story to describe your personality at 2: We were at swim lessons and we played on the little play area they have. You turn to me and whisper, "Mama, watch". You go and hide under the slide giggling. I'm thinking what is she up to? Then I see this girl about 6 or 7 whom we don't know at all and then I KNOW. You wait for her to round the corner and just at the right moment you pop out gleefully and yell, "BOO" that poor girl jumped about sky high and turned to tears...you looked at me with a quizzical face as though to say, "Why is she crying i was just playing"...It was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. You told the little sorry and off we went. You love playing puzzles and anything that uses your fine motor skills such as putting toothpicks in a jar that has small holes on the top, cutting, playdough etc. You are an excellent eater. Pork chops? check. Veggies. check. Fish? check. You are an extremely confident little girl, assertive at times but not pushy. You are social and friendly. I pray your confidence in yourself follows you all the days of your life. We love you so very much and I am honored to call you my baby girl, my angel.
