Trey's First Birthday "PAWW-TY"(Part 2)

The Pinata! We had a "string pull" pinata that worked out great. Everyone got to pull a string and the last one pulled opened the pinata! We are having an outdoor kitchen, sitting/dining area with fireplace installed so our yard is a mess!

Mommy and her Birthday Boy! I was holding backs tears...just can't believe we are celebrating your first year of life. WOW. Momma loves you..." as long as i'm living my baby you'll be".

YaYa,Trey and his cousin Hayes. Trey just couldn't figure out why Hayes had "his" Baba..he was a little confused and just kept looking at Hayes like, "Hey, thats mine, I want one too"!!! Hayes is 5months old and is going to be a big boy!

Trey's First Birthday "PAWW-TY" (Part 1)

This past Saturday we celebrated Trey's First Birthday "PAWW-TY" and had a "Dog-gone" good time! Since Trey loves Lola and dogs in general so much....well, as you can see thats the theme we decided to go with! And I tell you what, the Houston Humane Society has received alot of stuff in Trey's behalf. In lieu of gifts I asked that everyone donate to the Houston Humane Society. Trey got alot of toys too: GaGa and YaYa and our family just couldn't resist the gifts!!!!!

We had family here to help us ring in Trey's Birthday and it couldn't have been better. We had a pinata( a string one instead of one you have to hit) and we dyed Easter Eggs with our niece, Ella. Then we went to El Tiempo for Dinner and Birthday Cake!

Since this is the last post/entry for Trey's Book I'm having made from our blog I have alot of pictures to add...this is part one! Happy Birthday, Sweet Boy. We love you.

Lily Ryan Casey

Our beautiful new niece, Lily Ryan Casey, was born on Wednesday March 10, 2010 weighing in at a perfect 6lbs 6oz, 19inches. Lily is so sweet and has such a lovely complexion and tons of hair! Aunt Alli was able to be there for her birth and it will be a memory for a lifetime. This picture was taken yesterday of Trey meeting his cousin for the first time. Trey was very curious about Lily and wanted to touch her, alot! They are just 6 days shy of being exactly one year apart! Lily and Trey are going to have so much fun together. We Welcome to the world with lots and lots of love, Lily Ryan.

Rodeo Roundup!

we went to the rodeo this past weekend. we went on saturday in hopes of making a friend's baptism on Sunday(but i landed in the ER on Sunday morning with food poisioning or a stomach infection...must've been the sausage on a stick...jkidding i didn't eat that!, but i was sick sick sick! Rodeo Goer"s Beware: Wash your Hands!)

trey loved the petting farm and the rides...except in the first picture i think you were ready to go home! It was alot for a little guy, who was also getting over a viral throat infection and a rash, you ended up falling asleep on daddy's shoulder as we walked out!

Growing Pains....

Trey has been a busy little guy: walking everywhere! Which means, momma is busy too! I am notorious for reminding others, michael, nanny, parents to "watch him" and "be careful you have to keep your eye on him"....well this morning we were in our bedroom and trey was walking around bed and out of nowhere BOOM BAM BING he went down and hit his head on the wooden frame. My heart just froze. Then my tummy got sick. I was sure i was going to turn him over and blood was going to be oozing out. When you hear it "pop" after hitting something its gotta be bad, right? Well, no blood but it is a nasty nasty bump. I really don't know who hurt more me or Trey Man. I was crying, he was crying, thank goodness our nanny was here to the rescue. We iced it first, which Trey couldn't stand. Then She boiled some fresh oregano and let it cool. Then with a cotton ball she applied the oregano to his bump. Over the course of the day that bump went down....down and down.....def. remembering that little trick. Sorry Baby, for the fall. Mommy was sooo sad that happend today. I'm quite sure this is just the beginning of your tumbles.
