Summer Visit to Dallas!

The kids, buster and i loaded up in early June and headed to Dallas! We had a great visit and we hope to do it again soon.

YaYa helping Lady C get ready!

YaYa getting her workout in...it was HOT. But the kids loved it. Their expressions say it all! Especially Caroline, she has the best facial expressions!

Trey pretty much went thru every cabinet in his daddy's old room. It was like a treasure chest for him...really sweet. He loved trying on either michaels or uncle ryans football helmet. This is his impression of a tough/jock face!

She's a tough cookie. N.O. fear. N.A.D.A.

The best I could get of the cousins.

Loving on my girl.

Digging for Roly Polyies! Trey loved it. My sweet boy. Look at those eyelashes.

I adore this photo. To my daughter, my hope for you is that you always know how beautiful you are even if society's definition makes you feel differently. Mommy adores this quote and I hope when you are older reading this, you too, you will get what I have been saying all along. Wildflowers are special. Unique. Be you, Caroboo. B.E. Y.O.U. xoxo Mommy   From Alice in Wonderland Daisy: What kind of a garden do you come from?
Alice: Oh, I don't come from any garden.
Daisy: Do you suppose she's a wildflower?

The smile on Trey's face. That sweet, small, tender upturn of the lips...just enough to be a real grin. I love him so......

Buster's "Glamour Shot" :) Sweet puppy.

We were crawling with Roly Polyies. Thanks YaYa + PopPop for a great mini vacation. It was nice to spend time with you both.

Father's Day 2013

Learning how to use the catapult with a little bean bag it came with!
We kicked off Father's Day Weekend by going to Daddy's Favorite Mexican Restaurant on Friday cruising in Daddy's favorite new toy. A quote perfect for my husband, the Father of our beautiful children. Michael you have placed many things, dreams especially your time in a "drawer" and always without hesitation place the kids and I first. For this I am forever grateful.

"There are many different kinds of bravery. There’s the bravery of thinking of others before one’s self. Now, your father has never brandished a sword nor fired a pistol, thank heavens. But he has made many sacrifices for his family, and put away many dreams.”
“Where did he put them?”
“He put them in a drawer. And sometimes, late at night, we take them out and admire them. But it gets harder and harder to close the drawer… He does. And that is why he is brave.”
(Conversation between Mrs. Darling and Michael, from Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie)

This girl luvs her daddy.

Father's Day Lunch at Daddy's favorite hamburger joint before he had to fly out to San Diego!

Stop at our local barnes and noble to do some reading. Its the best thing to do on a HOT HUMID day!

Father's Day surprise. Trey put toys in this bucket that reminded him of Daddy. We have an airplane bc Daddy travels, a superhero bc well daddy's our superhero, a car bc Daddy likes sportscars and a robot thing bc Daddy likes Rockets ( For Mothers Day Daddy, Trey and Caroline setoff a rocket in our park across the street)  Caroline is just so happy to be apart of the fun!

Look at her face. This girl LOVES to pour water into, onto anything and she was so excited to poor the distilled water in to the container.

Then we froze it!

They loved trying to melt and break it open on Fathers Day Morning! I think I have done this before and its just a fun activity that takes a while :)

I found the "Cooper Kit" online and basically its a kit with really cool projects for Dad's to do with their kids and it comes with all the needed materials ready to go! This kit was about flying and gravity so they loved building the catapult...its a pretty neat thing!

Trey helping Daddy!

Big Girl. Putting the glue on all by herself! We love our Daddy!!!!!

Maui, Fishing 2013

Deep sea fishing is fun. Waking up at the butt crack of dawn,...not so much fun. But nothing a little Mickey D coffee and biscuit sandwhich can't help!

for 4:40 in the morning I think we are lookin' good.....

Luke's quote throughout our trip. " I"m coming back. Hell I just might move here". :)

MM getting the first catch!

I tell you what. These fish are strong. I was sweating.

Getting coached by Uncle MM...He was patient with us newbies...

Now this photo is just hilarious. I am actually out of breath and panting thru my teeth..somehow it looks like a party pic smile...but its more of a grunt...

Our catch of the day!

My catch. 35 pounds.

Random Bird Pic. Its Maui. Lots of birds flying around giving kisses :)

Myron made a delicious ceviche with our fish!
