Caroline Elizabeth's Baptism

Caroline's baptism was held on Jan. 29 2012. She was 6 months. It was a lovely ceremony and the dress she wore was very sentimental. All my girl cousins, including myself and sister have worn this dress. Thanks to Grami for keeping it so clean and in beautiful shape. We hosted brunch at fun little brunch spot near our neighborhood.

I'm pretty sure i chose the same one for Trey's Baptism back in 09'. I need to check!

Valentine's Photos

We went over to our good friend, Shalonda's house for pictures in January. I call her my friend now, as we have truly become friends and our husband's as well. The four of us hung out for our mutual friend, Jackie's wedding and we had a ball. I was worried at first as Shalonda's hubby Steven is a huge sports fan, and well Michael not so much.  Michael and I tuned into the Superbowl game at the last quarter(basically so he could have some basic knowledge about what went down with people at work, small talk, clients), about 3 mintues left, right when that guy from the Giants scored the touchdown and yet everyone was sullen and bummed..???? We could not for the life of us figure out why the touchdown was BAD thing, so Steven kindly spent some time filling us in :)However, as we got to chatting apparently Steven loves  HGTV as much as Michael and I so they got along just fine :)  I digress. Anyhow, Shalonda snapped these. And while they are cute of Trey it was def. not his day to shine. It was HONEY"S!!! Shalonda captured some of the best photos of sweet Caroline and i was so excited! Trey was just stoked about the candy and the battery operated pink barbie car we said he could drive if he cooperated :)

Caroline 7 Months

Caroline is 7 months!!! She is so much fun and her personality/temperament is still the same! Loves to be around people, especially Trey, loves to be outside, going on errands you name it! She is a pretty patient baby, one of her character traits i love most about her. She patiently waits while I dress her, patiently waits while I make Trey's lunch and I am so grateful to her!!! Caroline is the type of baby that inspire people to have, well, more babies :) Not that I"m having more babies. I'm just saying she is a delightful, happy go lucky baby and i feel so darn special that God lent me her. HE chose me to be her Momma and that feels amazing. She is def more aware of the "who's who" in her world. Getting a little anxiety here or there when i come and go. She is about 19 pounds and i love every roll on her :) She seems to be loving food: rolled oats,peas, carrots, blackberries, bananas, apricot, fig, sweet potatoes, squash, raspberries. I have been making her baby food, when time permits and I am really enjoying this. I did not do this as much w Trey but I am glad I am taking time to do this with her. Who would have thought I would love it like i do??? Her schedule varies depending on when she wakes in the morning. Her morning wakeup pretty much determines her day! Usually: 7:30-8:00 am wake up bottle about 6-8oz. between 10:00-10:30 nap(eats solids before napping) ( 2 hours),  wakes up, bottle, solids before nap and is down again between 1:00-2:00 (1.5 hours) bottle and then a mid evening nap around 4:00/4:30 for 1 hour up between 5:00 and 6:00 solids, bath and bottle and lights out anywhere from 7:00-7:30!!! She does still wake up once in the night to eat. It varies on time,  but she consistently takes down the 6-8oz bottle.  I will be happy when she doesn't wakeup, however, i'm not to fussed about it as I feed her and she goes right back to sleep. Caroline has 2 middle bottom teeth and they sprouted up at the same exact time:OUCH...that was not a fun week in our house :) We are def. at the "So you think you can Change my Diaper" stage. Twisting and Turning and making a real game out of it for mommy, lots of giggles to round!She is "itching" to crawl and trying to but no crawling yet  and she  sits up pretty well, but sometimes rolls over! She is also saying "dada" and other babbles.... I would say Caroline's favorite things at this age are: TREY, BATHTIME ( girl is a fish)kids in general, people watching, outdoors, laughing, smiling, giggling, watching TREY do just about anything.

They are my "end of the year review". They are my "bonus". They are my absolute pride + joy. These were taken the week of Feb. 1 2012. Caroline is 7months this week and Trey is just shy of 3.

Well, its happend.....

and her name is McKENNA!!!!!! 3 weeks ago Trey came home talking about Case's sister and he was blushing as he talked about her. Here are some of over conversations over the last month. Mama, she knows my name. Me: Who, baby, who knows your name? With the roll of his eyes, and his lips moving into a bashful grin says, "McKenna, Momma Mckenna knows my name." trey who do you want to come to your birthday party? Jack b. Nori, Case and Mckenna can Mckenna come to my party. Then we ran into Mckenna and Case at gymnastics this week and when he saw her ducked his head into my shoulder and just started giggling. And then we get this note!For the record, She is 5.
