Busther

Santa is coming a bit early this year. Tomorrow, Sunday Dec. 2, 2012 we will be going to get our new puppy, "Busther".  Since Lola has been sick for 4 years now we have really missed having a dog we can love on, snuggle with and play with so over the summer Michael and I decided Santa needed to bring us a puppy. We found the breeder we wanted and we were the 4th family in line for choosing a puppy. We want a wavy coat and a girl. When the litter was born on Oct. 8th 2012 there was 6 puppies and 1 girl. The first family wanted a girl so we thought we would be  getting a boy and acutally got used to the idea. Then about 2 weeks ago the breeder called us. The first family was going to wait on the next litter for a Choc. girl, the 2nd family wanted a boy, the 3rd family ending up not getting a dog and that left us to choose. The Breeder was going to keep the girl raise/breed her but decided to offer her to us. The girl and the one boy we wanted were the only two pups from this litter to have the wavy coat we were looking for so of course we happily said "sold"....From left to right she is the one with the fur stole on :)

These two pics were taken last week when got to meet her for the first time at the Breeder's Home and Lanie the breeder kindly snapped these two photos. Story of naming "Busther"...Trey for over year has wanted a boy dog and he wanted to name him "Buster" like Andy's dog in Toy Story. So when we chose the girl Trey was still adamant on "Buster" he was not willing to change the name. So YaYa said why don't you spell the name "Busther"...Michael thought that was quite creative and it stuck!
